If you’re reading this blog, chances are that you’re aware of the popular game called Zombicide.

This game has been launched after a very successful Kickstarter campaign and features survivors (controlled by the players) that must accomplish missions in a zombie-infested world.

The game has a very simple rules system but is quite hard to play (the Zombies are very dangerous, almost all the rules play in their favor).

Interestingly, the game is natively playable in solo mode, as the Zombies are controlled by the game itself.

I purchased the game (season 1) and started to paint the minis, I challenged myself to paint all of them. In this post, I’ll show you the progress I made with some survivors: the girls!

I wanted to paint them as close as possible to the character sheet, so don’t look for fancy colors here. I started with Amy, the gothic girl.

Amy, with its base colors

After having applied the base colors, I shaded them. What took me some trial and errors were the legs, I tried them in purple but it wasn’t readable enough. It really works better in grey/black. Creates the impression of transparency.

Amy, finished

Then I worked on Wanda, the waitress. On those pics the base wasn’t finished but Wanda was. I’m pretty happy with the result, it’s close enough to the original design.
